Dr. Mike Trabbold, Chiropractor
Dr. Mike Trabbold has spent nearly three decades doing what he loves: helping people of all ages take control of their health and get back to living fuller, more active lives. From newborns to seniors, athletes to those managing chronic pain, he has guided thousands of patients through concerns ranging from severe low back and sciatic pain to migraines and beyond.
For Dr. Mike, the real reward comes when a patient’s progress ripples outward, allowing them to live a more enriched life with the people they love.
Lia Laterza, Acupuncturist
Lia Laterza brings a rare combination of medical training and whole-person care to her role as acupuncturist at Muskego Health and Wellness Center. With a background that spans hospital-based diagnostics and advanced study in acupuncture and Oriental medicine, she approaches every patient with genuine curiosity, deep listening, and a calm, welcoming presence.
Many of her patients will tell you the same thing: Lia truly hears them. Because of Lia’s genuine care in understanding each person’s story, over time a lot of people she treats become more than patients – they become friends.
Dr. James Turnbull
Dr. James Turnbull brings over two decades of clinical experience to Muskego Health & Wellness Center, with a strong focus on functional and integrative medicine. He has been practicing since 1999 and has an extensive background in rehabilitation, neurology, and whole-body health.
Dr. Turnbull completed his undergraduate studies at Lawrence University in Wisconsin before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis. He continued his advanced postgraduate training in spinal trauma and completed a fellowship with the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture, further expanding his integrative clinical background.
Maria Schreiner, Office Manager
Maria brings a genuine passion for natural health and wellness to her role as Office Manager at Muskego Health and Wellness Center. With a background in office management and patient support, she keeps the practice running smoothly so patients feel welcome from the moment they walk in. Maria’s warm approach and commitment to serving our patients means our providers can focus on delivering their best care.
For Maria, the most rewarding part of this work is seeing patients improve and knowing she played a role in making their experience a positive one.
Outside the office, Maria enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, and baking. She appreciates the simple things in life and is a proud cat mom to two beloved cats.
Pauline Binder-Finnema, PhD (MedSci), LMT
Pauline Binder-Finnema came to massage therapy by way of a remarkable career in medical research. With a PhD in Medical Science specializing in global health and a Master of Public Policy in Community Health, she spent years studying equitable healthcare access, inflammatory disease, and how interventions like massage can support positive health outcomes without medication. But as she puts it, “sitting behind a computer with data is not a direct means to helping patients in daily life.”
When she retired, she trained at a premier Wisconsin massage school and brought all of that medical knowledge directly into the treatment room.
At Muskego Health and Wellness Center, Pauline works with neuromuscular, orthopedic cupping, and lymphatic techniques alongside Swedish and Lomi Lomi massage. She has specialized training to support cancer survivors, people living with Parkinson’s disease, those managing chronic pain or inflammatory conditions, and prenatal and postpartum clients. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and long forest walks with her German Shepherd, who also enjoys a massage after the walk.
Kathy Kastner, Patient Care Coordinator
Kathy came to Muskego Health and Wellness Center looking for a role that let her work with people while finding a healthier work-life balance, and she’s found exactly that. She brings a business degree and 20 years of management experience to the job, with a natural talent for keeping things organized and making sure everything runs smoothly. Her favorite part of the day is simple: watching patients walk out feeling better than when they came in.
Outside the office, Kathy loves tending her garden and curling up with a good book. She’s also a proud grandma to seven grandkids and loves cheering them on at sporting events or catching movies with them.
